What it is

A construction site induction, done in one place

A site induction is the safety briefing and document check every worker must complete before starting on a UK construction site. InductForge digitises it end-to-end — personal details, qualifications, document checks, a safety briefing and a knowledge check — so every new starter is recorded, consistent and auditable.

How it works

Three steps from sign-up to site

Send a link. The new starter does the rest on their phone. Your office approves — with document expiries tracked automatically.

01

New starter fills it in

On any phone, in their language. Details, role, health & PPE, emergency contact — with autosave and resume so nothing is lost.

02

Documents & safety check

Photo ID, CSCS card and right-to-work, a safety briefing and toolbox talks, then a trade-specific knowledge check with a pass mark.

03

Office reviews & approves

Everything lands in one dashboard. Approve, flag or reject, track CSCS and ticket expiries, and export records to CSV.

Features

Everything an induction needs — nothing it doesn't

Document & card capture

CSCS, right-to-work share code, qualifications and training certificates — photographed on the phone, with expiry tracking.

Safety briefing & toolbox talks

Per-trade safety video, an interactive site map and acknowledged toolbox talks — all recorded against the worker.

Knowledge check

Trade-specific quiz that shuffles questions, enforces a pass mark and issues a certificate — proof of competence.

Multilingual & accessible

English, Polish, Romanian and Lithuanian, read-aloud, large-text and high-contrast — built for a real site workforce.

Office dashboard

One place to review, approve and reject, see who's expiring, add notes and export to CSV/Excel.

Works offline (PWA)

Installable as an app, auto-saves progress and keeps working when the signal on site drops.

Why it matters

Get the compliance right the first time

FAQ

Questions, answered

What is InductForge?

InductForge is a mobile-first site induction and onboarding tool for UK construction subcontractors. New starters complete their details, upload documents such as their CSCS card and right-to-work share code, watch a safety briefing and pass a knowledge check, and the office reviews and approves them from one dashboard.

Is a site induction a legal requirement?

Yes. A site induction is the mandatory safety briefing every worker must receive before starting on a UK construction site. Under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) the principal contractor must ensure a site induction is provided. InductForge digitises that process so it is consistent, recorded and auditable.

Who is InductForge for?

It is built for UK construction subcontractors and their new starters — from labourers and apprentices to supervisors and managers — across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, underfloor heating and ventilation trades.

Does it capture CSCS cards and right to work?

Yes. New starters upload a photo of their CSCS card and enter their right-to-work share code, plus qualifications and training certificates. The office can record expiry dates and verify each item, with optional integrations to official checks on the roadmap.

Can new starters complete it on a phone?

Yes. InductForge is mobile-first and works in any browser. The camera opens for document and photo capture, progress is auto-saved, and it can be installed as an app and used offline when signal on site is poor.

What languages does it support?

The induction interface is available in English, Polish, Romanian and Lithuanian — the most common languages on UK construction sites — with a read-aloud option for low-literacy or non-native speakers.

Where is the data stored — is it GDPR-compliant?

InductForge can store submissions in a UK/EU database (Supabase, London region) over encrypted connections, with access limited to authorised office staff. It is designed around UK GDPR, including consent for special-category health data and defined retention periods.

How much does it cost, and can I try it first?

Indicative launch pricing starts from £39/month for a single company, £119/month for growing teams, and custom pricing for enterprise. The full demo runs on sample data with no account and nothing saved — try it from the homepage.
